Coworking Conferences in 2024 - Key Dates For Your Diary
If you didn’t know already, the Nexudus team loves a good coworking industry event.
Meet-ups give us the chance to travel and chat with old friends while making some new ones. We always come away having learned something new about the sector and enjoy sharing our knowledge to help coworking operators navigate their journey.
We’re probably not alone in thinking that this year has flown by.
So, before the winter really sets in, let’s start planning our coworking conference calendar for 2024, and take a look at some of the remaining events in store in Q4 of this year.
Space UK
When: 25th January 2024
Where: The London Stadium
SPACE UK is the flagship event of SPACE+. We’re proud to be sponsoring the event, which is regarded as one of the world's most innovative and progressive prop-tech events with 50% female speaker panels and a diverse agenda.
It’ll be a prime opportunity to expand your network – there are likely to be over 500 attendees at the event, including workspace operators, asset owners and tenants. Our CEO Carlos Almansa is going to be taking the stage to host a panel discussion on how we can keep improving the tenant experience in the real estate industry.
Wellbeing at Work Summit
When: 20-22 February 2024
Where: Riyadh and Dubai
2024 will mark the eighth Wellbeing and Work Summit. Curated for those who want to ‘take their health and wellbeing strategies to the next level’, the conference is held in-person and virtually, making it very accessible for those who are unable to travel to attend. The speaker line-up is TBC, so keep an eye on the website for more info.
Workspace Design Show
When: 27-28 February 2024
Where: Business Design Centre, London
The Workspace Design Show is the UK’s leading exhibition of workspace interiors, so it’s worth bookmarking if you’re an architect, interior designer or a coworking operator whose work is associated with – or takes an interest in – the way built environments impact the way we work.
It’s a big event, with around 3,500 attendees, over 120 speakers and more than 300 unique workplace products on display. One of the great things about this prestigious event is that it’s free! All you have to do is register for a place.
MIPIM
When: 12-15 March 2024
Where: Palais des Festivals, Cannes
Set over four days in Cannes, France, MIPIM - The Global Urban Festival will be opened by the former Prime Minister of Finland, Sanna Marin.
‘MIPIM influences and accelerates the transformation of the built environment’ and ‘is a catalyst for concrete solutions, combining face-to-face discussions, thought leadership, development opportunities and global capital to drive change’.
London Proptech Show
When: 12-15 March 2024
Where: ExCel, London
The London Proptech Show’s inaugural event was held in 2023, and owing to its success the conference will return in 2024 with an exciting itinerary. Exploring the intersection of innovation and real estate, delegates can expect to gain an in-depth insight into the latest proptech trends while expanding their network.
Workspace Expo
When: 26-28 March 2024
Where: Paris Porte de Versailles Hall 1
Workspace Expo is a yearly B2B trade show for office design, furniture and layout. If 2023’s event is anything to go by, 2024 should shape up to be an impressive show. Over 19,000 people participated in Workspace Expo 2023, making it the leading European BtoB trade show for furniture and workspace design.
Running Remote
When: 22-24 April 2024
Where: Lisbon
Running Remote is all about ‘powering the world’s transition towards distributed work’. Over three days, attendees can expect to engage in discussions about the latest remote work strategies and learn from over 50 industry leaders who specialise in company culture, growth, AI, and a range of related fields. In 2024, there will be representatives from Harvard Business School, Google, Upwork, and more.
The Workplace Event
When: 30 April - 2 May 2024
Where: NEC, Birmingham
The Workplace event will host an exciting programme of free-to-attend content, awards and insight. You’ll hear from leading innovators who are influencing the workplace experience while discovering the latest products and services. Like most of the events on the list, it’s multidisciplinary and welcomes a range of sectors.
Footprint+
When: 8-9 May 2024
Where: Old Billingsgate, London
This is an exciting event for anyone who is striving to create a net zero coworking operation, or those who would like to learn more about Net Zero.
‘FOOTPRINT+ is the world's most advanced international conference for the decarbonisation of the built environment’, and ‘explores how technology and materials, energy systems and data can work together synergistically to drive down buildings' carbon emissions’.
British Council for Offices
When: 22-24 May 2024
Where: The International Convention Centre, Birmingham
The British Council for Offices (BCO) is a membership organisation established in 1990. Members include workspace operators, architects, surveyors, public agencies and more. Each year, the BCO holds an annual convention, and 2024 will be no different. The schedule hasn’t been announced yet so keep an eye on the website.
Future of Work
When: 28-29 May 2024
Where: RDS Simmonscourt, Dublin
The Future of Work conference is set to dive into the latest developments in the workplace, exploring everything from automation and robotics to culture and globalisation. It will focus on ‘the opportunities and challenges in the workplace and what tools you will need to drive transformation across your workplace’.
WorkX
When: 10-12 June 2024
Where: San Diego
Hosted at The Omni in Southern California, the annual WorkX event is a ‘workplace conference that converges workplace innovation, technological advancement, and people-centric solutions’. It’s designed for those working in workplace and facilities management, human resources, real estate and technology.
Gartner Digital Workplace Summit
When: 10-11 June 2023
Where: London
AI is changing the way we work but there’s a gap in understanding. In 2024, the Gartner Digital Workplace Summit will support organisations to prepare their workforce for the future of generative AI and advancements in digital technology.
GCUC UK
When: TBA October 2024
Where: TBA
2023’s GCUC conference, which took place earlier in November, was packed full of decision-makers and game-changers who are shaping the future of flexible work…and we don’t expect 2024’s event to be any different! GCUC is the world’s biggest coworking conference series, so it’s worth bookmarking your nearest event.
